Common People

Today I went to visit someone, that I do not like. We went into the rich house and sat with their son, while they sat at another table, in their second  dining room. So my friend and I sit and eat. In motherfucking silence. The man did not speak a word to us, but not in a shy or awkward way, in a "waste of my time way" So we finish and walk away ignoring the folded paper towels in their elegant fucking triangle folds. We take a walk in this rich neighborhood, gawking at the insane houses. We pass one with a big enough backyard for a massive pool, and three tables, and four lawn chairs, and grass. Golf carts, perfectly dressed people, litter-free ponds with ducks. Every lawn was green, had flowers and perfectly trimmed bushes. No lawn mowers, no extra sound. It was dead. Only birds chirping in their little birdhouses, yet no bird manure. No trash was anywhere. At all. And we looked. We just couldn't believe it. There was no dog shit, or dog noise. Nothing. It was, perfect. I can't understand why anyone would strive with something so fucking boring. It was annoyingly perfect. I hate white noise..and perfect homes. Perfect fucking spoiled people grind my gears. We found no imperfection, and we searched. So we threw a can in the pound. We laughed as my friend mentioned that she expected the houses to collapse and people come out screaming or we get arrested, because we had made a crack in the exterior. I giggled at the thought that people work so hard for this, if they would get their head of the clouds and their noses weren't so high, maybe they would see that we're laughing. Getting their heads out of their asses needs to be priority #1.
